Visual Workshop is continually on the lookout for new ideas for our in-house video productions.

The proposal for a documentary based on the story of King Arthur and the Holy Grail, as presented by Professor Roland Rotherham, an internationally renowned expert on King Arthur and the Holy Grail, immediately captured our interest.

The project took two years to complete (longer than expected due to pressure of work) and meant travelling to some of the most famous historical sites in Britain including Castle Ring, Glastonbury Abbey, Glastonbury Tor, Tintangel, Castle Dinas Bran at Llangollen, Cadbury Castle, Wall Roman Site and other famous historical sites around Britain.to obtain interviews and video footage.

We can also honestly say that mountain climbing with heavy video equipment is a great way to get in shape, but the stunning video footage obtained was well worth the effort.

In the making of this documentary we have focused on the relationship between the myths and legends regarding King Arthur and the actual historical accounts of the warlords, whose actions could have given rise to the stories that surround King Arthur, and believe us, Arthur Warlord and King, is some story.
